Harvard Debate Intl Speech and Debate Initiative TOC Qualifier

The ISDI TOC Qualifying Tournaments are a series of online tournaments to be held throughout the year with an emphasis on global participation. This tournament, the 1st in the series, will be administered by the Harvard Debate Council.

All tournaments will take place on Friday and Saturday evenings in the Americas and on Saturday and Sunday mornings in Asia.

We will offer two divisions of World Schools Debate – juniors and varsity.

Mix of Impromptu and Prepared Topics | 4-4-4-4-4-4-2-2 Speech Times |No In-Round Preparation

The tournament runs January 23-26, 2026.

For American time zones, it’s Jan 23 - Jan 24 in the evenings.

For Asian time zones, it’s  Jan 24 - Jan 25 in the mornings.

Pairings will be released approximately 15 minutes prior to start time.

All participants should report to the online rooms within 5 minutes after pairings are released.

All participants must return to and remain in the online rooms 10 minutes before the start time.
